Gary Stoehr completed a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh, a doctor of pharmacy degree from Duquesne University, and a residency in hospital pharmacy from the Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. After a long academic career at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, Dr. Stoehr was named dean of the D’Youville College School of Pharmacy, then dean emeritus upon his retirement in 2015. His research interests involve medication use in the elderly and the impact that medications have on cognition and memory.
